Breastfeeding Community Assessment, Regional Community Breastfeeding Specialty and RFA (invite agencies to set up peer counseling programs) are the goals for the new funding.
Local agencies will be asked to submit for funds and CA WIC will look at existing programs to expand, establish new programs,a nd mentor other programs.
Michelle wants us to help set this up. What should we be asking, who should we be talking to? How would you like results displayed? We want it to be larger than just breastfeeding peer counseling programs, with the limits set by the funding. We want to fill gaps, we want to help.
